Formula
Height = target width × original height ÷ original width. Aspect ratio = width ÷ height.
Recommended workflow
- Enter original dimensions in the same unit.
- Enter the desired width.
- Keep aspect ratio locked in your editor when resizing.
Limitations
Ratio simplification rounds fractional dimensions to whole numbers. This tool does not resize image files.
